When a friend was wanting to effectively unionize the comedy groups at our school, he asked me to create a logo for The Comedy Society. I started with the masks of comedy and tragedy, and just took out the one that didn't apply. I made some customizations to typography to give the identity more style and charm. From there, I was contacted to create new identities for the flagship comedy shows, and went two very different directions so they could keep their individuality.
